What are Mantras and How do
Positive Re-Affirmations work?
The mind is a wonderful, complex and unique machine that is constantly working.
The mind has amazing mechanisms to protect the individual from danger and its main goal is survival. The mind has two key parts that help us stay in balance, the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. The conscious mind is the logical and organizer, manager of thoughts while the subconscious is the gatherer of data and putting memories together as needed without logic only using comparable data.

The mind is constantly learning from the individual, looking at prior experiences, going into the deep banks of memories and prior outcomes to choose the best solution to a situation where the individual needs protection.

Unfortunately, when the mind is overwhelmed and on survival mode for long periods of time, it begins to shut down and allows the subconscious mind to take over, which it (the subconscious mind) then panics and starts reliving all scenarios (mostly negative ones) so fear takes over.

Mantras and Positive Re-Affirmations are ways to keep the subconscious mind focused on the positive while the conscious mind needs to rest, so the subconscious does not go into panic mode.

TCoU Mantras, Positive Re-Affirmations...

I am Smart--I will Succeed!! Today I have hope for a new day that brings me many new opportunities to start fresh and with renewed energy.

I believe in my own inner light. I will open the channels of soul to allow my inner light to guide me today!

Today I will remember that this dark moment will also pass, that hope and light are waiting for me. I will hold on-I AM NOT ALONE.

I am a beautiful person, full of inner light and dreams. I will help my soul shine through my body, to reflect my inner beauty. I am unique!!

Today I will use my inner light to help someone in need. My light can be a beacon of hope to others. I am a beacon of hope to them.

Today I give myself permission to be happy, to chase the fear that wants to drag me down. I am a worrier, I am ENOUGH!!

I am calm, relaxed and peaceful today. I will quiet my anxious thoughts by setting them free and not let them disrupt my sanctuary. I am at peace.

I am a valuable and beautiful person. I am not a burden, I bring love and light to those around me. I will not allow shame to dilute my light from shining. I am valuable!!

I am not alone!! I am surrounded by others that have similar needs. I will find someone that needs hope and feels alone like me, to find, share the light, hope together and by so doing fill my own void.
